
How to Add USDC to Your Backpack Wallet on Solana

Option 1: Deposit USDC from an External Wallet or Exchange
- Open Backpack Wallet - Launch the Backpack Wallet extension or mobile app and log in.
- Navigate to Deposit - Click on the Deposit button located in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
- Select USDC and Solana Network - Choose USDC as the asset and ensure the Solana (SPL) network is selected.
- Copy Your Wallet Address - Copy the provided wallet address.
- Initiate Transfer from External SourceFrom your external wallet or exchange (e.g., Coinbase, Binance):
- Initiate a Send or Withdraw transaction.
- Paste your Backpack wallet address.
- Ensure the network selected is Solana (SPL).
- Enter the amount of USDC to transfer and confirm the transaction.
- Confirm Receipt - Once the transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, your USDC balance will reflect in your Backpack Wallet.
Option 2: Swap SOL for USDC Within Backpack
- Ensure Sufficient SOL Balance - Make sure you have enough SOL in your Backpack Wallet to perform the swap and cover transaction fees.
- Access the Swap Feature - Navigate to the Spot Trading interface from the Spot menu.
- Select Trading Pair - Choose the SOL/USDC trading pair.
- Execute the Swap
- Choose an order type: Market (instant execution) or Limit (set a specific price).
- Enter the amount of SOL you wish to swap.
- Confirm the transaction.
- Check USDC Balance - After the swap is executed, your USDC balance will be updated in your Backpack Wallet.
Option 3: Deposit USDC via Fiat On-Ramp
- Access Deposit Options - Click on the Deposit button in the upper right-hand corner.
- Select Fiat On-Ramp - Choose the option to deposit USD via wire transfer.
- Complete Wire Transfer - Follow the provided instructions to complete a wire transfer.
- Automatic Conversion to USDC - Once the wire transfer is received, the funds will be automatically converted to USDC and credited to your Backpack Wallet.
